Impact Resistant Alloys
Manganese Steel containing 11-14% manganese and all the alloy variations possible has enabled us to choose the right chemistry for each of our customer's needs when impact resistance is the primary concern. Damascus knows manganese steels.
Wear Resistant Alloys
Chrome irons and Bromalloy® have given our customer the wear resistance they need in severe wear applications with very low impact requirements. Our licensed alloy Bromalloy® has proven to outlast white irons in many high-wear environments. Please allow us to help you solve your toughest wear problems.
Hard Facing Capabilities
Years of research has enabled us to perfect the use of tungsten and chromium carbides overlaid on manganese steel. This combination has provided our customers the best of both worlds – high abrasion resistance with the high impact resistance provided by the manganese base material. We have selected the highest carbide bearing hard facing materials on the market today to give our customers the longest wearing materials available.
